TODAY A generally fine day with a mixture of broken low cloud and sunny spells at first. There is a small risk of the odd patch of drizzle where the cloud thickens, but most places missing these. The cloud will thicken further to bring some showery spells of rain, especially at first and again later. Temperature 10-11°C Wind south 12-23mph becoming 14-25mph Rainfall 1-3mm

Showery rain at first, but this will clear away by mid morning to leave behind a mixture of cloud and just occasional brighter spells. Temperature 11-12°C but dropping slightly during the afternoon Wind south 14-25mph becoming west-northwest 10-19mph
