Morning update - The odd shower then brighter today, early rain then bright tomorrow

TODAY

Cloud and the odd shower at first but the cloud will break for a time to give a few sunny spells here and there, although from mid afternoon the cloud will begin to thicken once again as an area of rain pushes up from the southwest for the evening. Temperature 10-11°C but the odd spot to the north and east may see 12°C Wind west-southwest 19-35mph becoming south 6-12mph by evening

TONIGHT

A wet evening and first half of the night with prolonged spells of rain, some of which may be rather heavy at times. Later in the night the rain will become more patchy and likely clearing away by dawn. Temperature 7-9°C Wind south 4-9mph becoming variable for a time then west 9-17mph by dawn Rainfall 10-15mm, perhaps as high as 20-25mm in places but with considerable uncertainty

TOMORROW

Cloud and showery rain at first, but this will gradually move away and allow for some sunny spells to develop during the afternoon. Temperature 10-11°C Wind west 15-28mph becoming 21-40mph for a time but slowly easing to be 16-28mph by the end of the day
