Weather Warning for frost and fog in many places Tonight.
Tonight will be cold and mostly clear to start the night but mist and fog that has already developed in low lying fields will become more extensive in many places across the island although the south coast may see a somewhat reduced risk but even here we wont completely rule it out. Some places may escape the foggy conditions but most low lying or very flat areas will likely see fog drifting through at some point throughout the night.
There will be a wide spread ground frost right across the island and also an air frost in some parts too which may lead to freezing fog.
Min temperature will vary between 0'c and 3'c in most places but some spots in central parts may fall as low as -2'c although this will be extremely localised.
Wind light and variable.
Tomorrow will start much as the night ends with frost and fog in many areas. The fog should slowly clear through the morning in many parts but this may leave some lingering low cloud for a time. Sunny spells should develop through the morning but still with areas of high thin cloud drifting in, especially later.
Max temperature 11'c in the south and west, 8'c to 10'c in central and northern parts, 7'c-9'c in eastern parts. Wind W 5-10mph at first but light and variable in other areas. The afternoon will be WSW 10-15mph in the south, west and northwest, 5-10mph in other areas.
IoW areas listed below.
