Todays summary
Today saw some long sunny spells although occasional areas of cloud came through with the odd light snow flurry here and there. We had reports of light snow falling in Newport this afternoon as well as Luccombe and Ventnor but this only lasted for a few minutes. Temperatures varied from 3'c - 4'c in some central and western parts to 5'c in the northwest of the island and on the east coast.

Long clear spells throughout tonight with just a little patchy cloud coming through from time to time. There will be a widespread frost across the island with a hard frost in a few localised spots
Temperature -1'c to 1'c but a few localised sheltered spots in central parts could see -3'c to -4'c leading to a moderate-hard air frost.

A bright start but occasional areas of cloud moving through with the risk of the odd light snow flurry at first. During the afternoon it will be dry but with increasing amounts of cloud coming in from the northwest. Later in the evening the cloud may be thick enough for a few flakes of snow.
Temperature 2'c to 3'c but a few spots may reach 4'c in the far NW and also the far E of the island
