Cloud and rain clearing through during the first half of the night with clear spells developing and just the odd wintry shower.

Temperature 4'c to 6'c in the west and south (as well as the north coast) but falling in other parts to 2'c to 4'c with a slight ground frost possible in sheltered parts.

Wind SW 26-35mph becoming WNW 32-40mph

Rainfall 1-2mm

Tomorrow Sunny spells on and off throughout the day but there is the risk of a few showers developing, especially during the afternoon and these are likely to be wintry with hail and sleet mixed in although some places will remain dry.
