Heatwave continues with high temperatures, sunny skies and an extremely high UV index (sunburn risk)

Today

Very warm and sunny with just the odd small patch of high thin cloud possible now and then. An extremely high sunburn index is likely due to the exceptionally clear dry air with southern parts of the island seeing Mediterranean type values.

Temperature 24'c to 27'c with the odd spot reaching 28'c although closer to 20'c to 22'c in the south and east

Wind ENE 12-16mph

Tonight

Clear skies although perhaps a little bit of cloud cloud developing in more eastern and southern parts by dawn.

Temperature 12'c to 14'c in rural parts, 14'c to 16'c in the larger towns and on windward coasts

Wind NE 14-21mph becoming NNE

Tomorrow

Another clear sunny day apart from the risk of a little low cloud early on in more eastern and southern parts but this will clear away quickly if it develops. Once again it will feel very warm or even hot away from windward coasts.

Temperature 26'c to 29'c but closer to 21'c in the far east and south

Wind NNE 12-17mph becoming ENE 14-21mph
