A generally fine day ahead with occasional sunny spells, especially at first. Through the afternoon we will see the cloud gradually thickening although remaining dry until mid afternoon when we are likely to see some patchy light rain and drizzle moving in along with low cloud and hill fog in the south and west. Some heavier rain is possible towards evening. Temperature 19-21°C Wind southwest 15-26mph becoming 22-41mph during the afternoon rainfall less than 1mm

Tonight

Showery spells of rain, potentially heavy locally will affect the island on and off until the early hours before clearing away to the east, although the cloud will likely linger for some time. Temperature 18-19°C Wind west-southwest 19-38mph becoming 14-25mph although turning northwest 3-7mph by dawn Rainfall 2-8mm with locally variable amounts

Tomorrow

Early rain will clear away to leave behind some clearer spells but also with rather large areas of high cloud which will make the sunshine very hazy at times, although less so during the afternoon as we see the cloud clearing away.
