Mist and low cloud this morning will gradually clear away to give some sunny spells by mid to late morning, then staying mostly bright and sunny through the day with just the odd patch of cloud here and there, and feeling pleasantly warm too.

Temperature: 22–24°C across the bulk of the Island, but a little cooler around windward coasts, especially in the south and west during the afternoon, where temperatures will be closer to 20°C

Wind: north, 7–12 mph, but with a west-southwest coastal breeze developing in the west and south

TONIGHT

A fine, dry night across the Island, but with areas of high, thin cloud developing and moving through later. The moon should still be visible overnight, although becoming increasingly hazy later in the night as the high cloud thickens.

Temperature: 9–10°C across many areas, falling to 8–9°C in a few sheltered, low-lying eastern and central parts, but remaining closer to 12–13°C around windward coasts, mostly in the north

Wind: northwest, 9–16 mph, easing to 6–12 mph towards dawn

A fine day across the Island and feeling pleasantly warm too. There will be some high, thin cloud around at first, with perhaps the odd patch of cloud developing during the afternoon, but otherwise plenty of sunshine.

Temperature: 18–20°C, so a touch down on recent days, but still feeling very pleasant in the light to moderate breezes

Wind: north to northwest, 4–8 mph, turning more southwest during the afternoon and increasing slightly to 6–10 mph
