Cloud around to start the day, but this should gradually break up with some sunny spells developing. There will occasionally be a few areas of cloud drifting through, but by mid-afternoon we should generally see mostly sunny conditions.

A fine, dry night across the Island, with patchy mist and fog developing at first, becoming a little more widespread later, especially towards dawn when we could see some dense patches of fog in places.

Temperature: 12–14°C generally, but a few low-lying rural spots could fall as low as 10–11°C

Wind: southeast, 7–14 mph at first, becoming variable, 0–3 mph later

TOMORROW

Once any early mist and fog has cleared, it will be a fine, sunny day with almost unbroken sunshine throughout. Later in the day, we may see some high, thin cloud pushing in from the west towards evening.

Temperature: 22–24°C, but closer to 20°C around windward coasts

Wind: north to northeast, 3–5 mph at first, becoming 7–14 mph, but turning a little more onshore around the coastlines as sea breezes develop
