Evening update - Odd shower tonight, heavy rain at times tomorrow + Weather Warning

TONIGHT

A few localised showers to start the night, perhaps developing a little more widely for a time before moving southwards into the channel where they may become thundery just offshore. Later in the night the cloud will generally increase and still with the chance of the odd scattered shower. A few rural mist patches developing but clearing away as the thicker cloud moves in later in the night. Temperature 12-14°C but as low as 10°C under clear skies in a few rural parts Wind north 4-9mph becoming northeast and increasing to 12-21mph by dawn Rainfall 0-2mm with localised rainfall possible

TOMORROW

Cloudy to start the day with some patchy rain that will become heavier and more persistent through the morning and into the afternoon, with some very heavy downpours mixed in locally. Temperature 16-17°C Wind northeast 15-25mph becoming northwest during the afternoon then variable 3-8mph by the evening Rainfall 20-40mm with highly localised variations
