Fog clearing to sunny spells today – further dense fog possible tomorrow morning, then fine and pleasant! 🌫️☀️

TODAY
Morning fog will lift into low cloud for a time before finally clearing away to leave us with some good sunny spells. Feeling pleasantly warm despite the chilly start.
Temperature: 18–20°C
Wind: northwest, 3–5 mph at first, becoming west-southwest at 7–12 mph by midday and increasing to 10–16 mph during the afternoon.
TONIGHT
There will be some long clear spells overnight, but further areas of mist and fog will develop. Once again, the fog will become locally dense and could become rather widespread.
Temperature: generally 10–12°C, but perhaps falling as low as 8–9°C in some low-lying rural areas, while remaining closer to 14–15°C around the Weymouth coast
Wind: west to west-northwest, 3–5 mph at first, becoming north to northwest later, then northerly at 4–6 mph towards dawn.
TOMORROW
Mist and fog will start the day, potentially becoming rather dense in places. This will burn off once again to leave some good sunny spells, although it may take a little longer to clear around eastern coasts and through the Solent, with some mist potentially hugging the coastline for a time. Otherwise, it will be a fine day in general with some good sunny spells. Later in the day and towards the evening, cloud will begin to push in from the south and southwest, bringing the risk of the odd shower.
Temperature: 19–21°C, warmest in the north and west and coolest in the south and east
Wind: north, 4–6 mph at first, becoming northeast and then east at 5–10 mph through the day, before dropping closer to 3–5 mph towards evening.
