July 14th, Evening update + Outlook for the Week Ahead


Quick Summary

A rather mixed with with occasional rain or showers along with dry and sometimes sunnier conditions. Temperatures still suppressed throughout.


Tonight Clear spells at first which will allow a few rural mist patches to develop, but later in the night the cloud will increase. Cold. Temperature 9-11°C Wind southwest 5-11mph becoming variable 0-4mph then east 3-7mph by dawn



Tomorrow Any early sunshine soon fading as the cloud continues to thicken, bringing rain by mid morning, some of which may be heavy for a time but then easing as we move into the afternoon. Once the main area of rain clears through we will likely see some showers developing, some of which will be very heavy locally and perhaps thundery. Temperature 16-18°C Wind east 8-15mph becoming southeast during the afternoon then west-southwest by evening Rainfall 5-11mm with locally variable amounts



Tuesday Not a terrible day with a mixture of cloud and occasional sunny spells along with the odd mostly light shower. Temperature 18-20°C Wind west-southwest 14-25mph



Wednesday A reasonable day with sunny spells and just occasional areas of cloud moving through. Temperature 19-21°C Wind southwest 9-16mph



Thursday A fairly cloudy day with perhaps a little light patchy rain around in places. Temperature 18-20°C Wind variable 3-6mph becoming south 5-11mph



Friday A generally fine day with sunny spells and broken cloud. Perhaps feeling a touch warmer too. Temperature 20-22°C Wind west or southwest 5-12mph
