July 15th, Morning update

Writer's picture: iwmet service iwmet service

Today Morning cloud soon to be followed by rain for a time, although there are signs that the rain area will be weakening as it arrives, leading to lower rainfall totals initially. During the afternoon the rain will clear away for a time but there are hints that we may see further showery rain moving up from the south, and whilst it will be localised, some of it may be heavy, perhaps even locally torrential with the risk of thunder. Temperature 16-18°C Wind east 8-16mph becoming southeast during the afternoon before turning southwest during the evening Rainfall 4-12mm with highly localised variations

Tonight A few showers moving through but also occasional clear spells. Temperature 15-16°C Wind southwest 16-32mph becoming west later Rainfall 0-2mm with localised rainfall possible

Tomorrow Cloud with showery rain to start the day but this will clear away by late morning to leave us with a mixture of broken cloud and some good sunny spells. Temperature 19-21°C Wind west 16-32mph becoming west-southwest during the afternoon Rainfall 0-1mm
