Mist and fog clearing to sunny spells today – heavy, showery rain tomorrow, perhaps turning brighter later! 🌫️🌤️🌧️

TODAY
Morning mist, fog and low cloud will clear away by late morning, although it may linger around eastern and southern coasts for a little longer. Otherwise, once the mist and fog have cleared, it will be a generally fine day with sunny spells and patchy cloud.
Temperature: 18–20°C
Wind: northeast, 5–9 mph, becoming east at 6–11 mph.
TONIGHT
A fine and dry start to the night, but mist and fog may reform for a time, and much earlier than on recent nights. Cloud will then push in from the south and southwest, gradually increasing through the evening, with the risk of the odd shower moving through. Later in the night, there is the risk of some rather heavy rain at times, which may remain with us through to dawn.
Temperature: 13–15°C, but rising slightly through the night
Wind: north to northeast, 4–7 mph, increasing to 7–12 mph by dawn
Rainfall: 0–3 mm, with localised rainfall possible.
TOMORROW
Heavy and showery spells of rain at first, although these should begin to push away to the east as we move into the afternoon, perhaps allowing a little brightness to end the day.
Temperature: 14–16°C at first, but dropping closer to 12–13°C during the afternoon
Wind: north to north-northwest, 10–18 mph, becoming 17–25 mph by midday and increasing further to 19–30 mph during the afternoon
Rainfall: considerable uncertainty with highly localised variations, but generally 3–6 mm, with as much as 8–12 mm possible locally.
