Morning update - Hazy sun & low shower risk today, bright and fresh tomorrow
TODAY
A day of hazy sunny spells along with rather large areas of high cloud. We may also see the odd shower this afternoon, although the majority of these will see the rain evaporating before reaching the ground due to the rain falling from very high altitude into a layer of dry air. Temperature 22-24°C with the odd spot in the north and east seeing 25°C Wind southeast 6-11mph, gradually becoming south after midday then west-southwest 8-17mph by late afternoon
Rainfall less than 1mm Level 1 Heat Alert
TONIGHT
Perhaps the odd shower at first but the skies will become mostly clear overnight with a few rural mist and fog patches developing.
Temperature 12-14°C Wind west-southwest 8-15mph becoming west-northwest 7-11mph
TOMORROW
A fine day with sunny spells and occasional areas of cloud. Feeling cooler and fresher. Temperature 18-20°C Wind west-northwest 10-16mph becoming west-southwest 12-19mph during the afternoon
