Morning update - Odd thundery shower today and tomorrow

TODAY

After a mostly fine start we will see some cloud developing along with the odd shower that could be thundery, although the highest risk is towards the north of the island, closest to where a band of heavy showers and thunderstorms will move westwards over southern England. Temperature 20-22°C Wind north-northeast 12-22mph becoming east-northeast 14-27mph later this morning but slowly dropping back to 6-12mph by this evening Rainfall 0-4mm with localised rainfall possible

TONIGHT

Dry at first but a scattring of heavy and perhaps thundery showers moving in from the southeast later. Temperature 16-17°C Wind northeast 5-12mph Rainfall 0-8mm with localised rainfall possible

TOMORROW

We continue to see the risk of a few showers moving in from the southeast and still the chance of the odd thundery one, although not everywhere seeing these. Temperature 19-21°C Wind east-northeast 8-17mph becoming east 12-23mph by late morning Rainfall 0-4mm with localised rainfall possible
