Morning update - Patchy, showery rain today, sun but increasing cloud tomorrow

TODAY A generally cloudy day with a few patches of showery rain moving through, although towards evening we are likely to see a little brightness to end the day. Temperature 17-18°C Wind southwest 12-20mph becoming south-southwest 15-30mph before turning west-southwest 18-35mph by the end of the day Rainfall 1-3mm

TONIGHT

A dry night with long clear spells and just occasional patches of cloud. Temperature 8-10°C but as low as 6°C in a few low lying rural spots and closer 11°C around windward coasts Wind west 16-30mph becoming north 4-9mph

TOMORROW

After a bright start we will see cloud developing with just a handful of mostly light showers drifting through, before brightening up once again to end the day. Temperature 14-16°C Wind north 4-11mph becoming northeast 10-19mph
