TODAY

Showery rain is likely to become heavier and more persistent for a time before clearing away gradually through the afternoon, perhaps with a little brightness just before sunset. Temperature 13-14°C Wind southwest 11-20mph becoming northwest 7-15mph later this afternoon
Rainfall 2-5mm generally but perhaps as high as 8-10mm where we see the heaviest spells
TONIGHT
Any remaining cloud will soon move away to give a mostly clear night with no real risk of any mist or fog, despite the wet ground. Temperature 7-9°C but closer to 13°C around windward coasts Wind west 15-26mph becoming 7-14mph later
TOMORROW
After a bright start we will see cloud increasing from the west, although it should stay generally dry as a whole, apart from the odd rogue shower that may drift in off the channel but most places missing these.
Temperature 12-13°C
Wind west 4-9mph at first but soon becoming south and increasing to 14-28mph by midday then to 19-35mph during the afternoon
Rainfall 0-1mm with localised rainfall possible
