Morning update - Sunny spells today and again tomorrow with a rather hard frost overnight

TODAY

A fine, sunny but breezy day which will make it feel rather chilly in the wind and out of the sunshine. We will see some patchy cloud drifting through at times, especially in the east and south but most places staying fairly sunny throughout. Temperature 6-8°C Wind east-northeast 8-15mph

TONIGHT

Another cold, clear night with a widespread frost across the island along with some mist and fog patches, especially in low lying rural parts. Temperature -2°C to 0°C widely but a few rural spots could fall as low as -4°C Wind north 2-5mph but variable 0-3mph inland

TOMORROW

Early mist and frost will soon clear away to give a fine, sunny day. Temperature 8-9°C
