TODAY

A lot of cloud around, with the odd patch of rain or light shower possible here and there, although some places will escape altogether. It will remain mostly overcast for much of the day, but one or two brighter spells may develop during the afternoon. However, these are likely to be rather limited.

Temperature: 17–18°C

Wind: southwest, 14–24 mph, becoming 16–30 mph for a time around the middle of the day, before slowly easing during the afternoon to 12–23 mph by the end of the day

Rainfall: 0–1 mm, with localised rainfall possible.

TONIGHT

Perhaps the odd shower at first, but the cloud will break up to give some clear spells through the first half of the night. After midnight, cloud will begin to thicken again from the west as a band of rain moves towards us, beginning to affect the Island towards dawn.

Temperature: 13–15°C at first, but generally around 15–17°C for much of the night. However, shortly before sunrise, temperatures should fall significantly to around 10–12°C as the wind changes direction

Wind: southwest, 10–17 mph, becoming 17–28 mph later in the night

Rainfall: 1–2 mm.

TOMORROW

Rain to start the day, although it should remain mostly light to moderate. This will clear away by mid-morning, with some good sunny spells developing. However, as we move into the afternoon, the odd shower is likely to move in from the northwest, but there will still be some bright spells here and there. Feeling cooler than it has done over the last few days.

Temperature: 14–15°C

Wind: northwest, 12–20 mph, becoming 14–23 mph for a time, before gradually easing as we move through the afternoon

Rainfall: 1–3 mm.
