Sunny spells but coastal gales

This afternoon will be mostly fine and bright with good sunny spells and just some patchy cloud at times. It will be windy with gales in the east, south and also over the hills.

Tonight will be clear at first but cloud will start spreading in from the east as the night goes on. A slight frost in places at first.

Min temperature 2'c to 3'c generally but a few localised spots in central areas could fall as low as 0'c. Closer to 4'c in the far south.

Wind ENE 34-42mph becoming 25-30mph later

Tomorrow will be a cold rather cloudy day but it should remain dry.
