Cold, wintry showers with sleet or snow mixed in later tomorrow. WEATHER WARNING for potential 80mph
Tonight will see a few showers moving through from time to time which may turn a little wintry later in the night with the potential for some hail or sleet. There will also be occasional clear spells which will allow temperatures to drop in a few sheltered eastern parts. Min temperature 7'c to 8'c in the west and south, 5'c to 7'c in central, northern and eastern parts with the odd sheltered spot down to 3'c or 4'c in the east but this will be very localised.
Wind WNW 30-40mph becoming 36-45mph with occasional 50mph gusts.
Tomorrow will start off fairly bright but showers are likely to push through at times and these
may have some hail or sleet mixed in too. Later on in the afternoon/evening it seems likely that a spell of more frequent showers may pass across our area and these could have a mix of hail, sleet and possibly even a little snow here and there although the snow risk will be mostly over the hills. Max temperature 4'c to 5'c in the north and east, 5'c to 6'c in other areas with a few spots as high as 7'c in the far south and west.
Wind WNW 38-48mph gusting 55mph around any heavier showers.
Tomorrow night will see further showers coming through for a time and these will likely be of hail, sleet and perhaps even a little snow but mostly over the high ground and the downs.
