Sunny spells, showers much later today. Gales at first and again during the afternoon tomorrow, with heavy showers easing 🌤️🌧️💨

TODAY
Good sunny spells during the morning and afternoon, although cloud will increase from the southwest later in the afternoon, with some showery rain moving up from the southwest as we move into the evening.
Temperature: 14–15°C
Wind: west, 18–30 mph, becoming southwest at 12–22 mph during the afternoon, then turning south and increasing to 18–29 mph during the evening
Rainfall: 1–3 mm (evening only)
TONIGHT
Heavy showery rain, locally torrential and perhaps even thundery, pushing up from the south at first, becoming very windy later in the night too, with gales developing from the south.
Temperature: 13–15°C
Wind: south, 24–45 mph, increasing to 31–58 mph by midnight, then 39–65 mph during the early hours
Rainfall: 10–20 mm, with locally variable amounts
TOMORROW
Heavy showery rain during the morning, locally torrential, with strong south to southeasterly gales. The wind will ease for a time before turning west and picking up again by late morning or early afternoon. As the wind changes direction, the heaviest of the showery rain will clear away, leaving some patchy light or moderate rain here and there. It will also feel somewhat chillier as temperatures drop following the change in wind direction.
Temperature: 14–16°C at first, becoming 10–11°C during the afternoon
Wind: considerable uncertainty, but potentially south or southeast, 39–65 mph, perhaps locally stronger, slowly turning west and easing for a time before increasing again to 36–65 mph by late morning or early afternoon
Rainfall: 3–6 mm
