Cold with cloudier periods at first but long clear spells will develop which will allow temperatures to drop very low across many parts of the island. Cloud increasing somewhat by dawn.

Temperature 0'c to 3'c at first but the early hours of the morning will see -2'c to 0'c widely with a few pockets down to -4'c or -5'c locally.

Wind NNW 8-12mph becoming calm for a time then by dawn WSW 10-14mph in the west and south but 3-7mph in central and eastern parts

A bright start but cloud increasing through the morning to become overcast during the afternoon with a little patchy rain arriving although becoming persistent and heavier by late afternoon/evening.

Temperature 7'c to 8'c after a cold start

Wind SW 12-18mph becoming 25-30mph during the afternoon increasing further later.

Rainfall 0.5-1.5mm

Tomorrow night 8th/9th Rain at first which may be heavy followed by a few showers and clear spells later in the night.
