Becoming brighter today, thundery shower risk tomorrow
24 Hour wind speed and direction
Today
Most of the early mist and fog has cleared away to leave a rather cloudy morning. As we move through the afternoon we should see the cloud start to break up with sunny spells developing although still with the risk of some coastal mist where the winds are blowing off the channel. Temperature 19'c to 21'c but closer to 16'c on windward coasts
Wind variable becoming SW 6-10mph
Tonight
Clear spells at first although perhaps with some coastal mist patches but later in the night the cloud will increase from the southeast bringing the risk of a few thundery showers by the end of the night.
Temperature 12'c to 14'c but a few sheltered countryside spots could fall as low as 10'c
Wind SW 1-5mph becoming NE after midnight and increasing to 9-12mph by dawn
Rainfall 0-2mm (localised rainfall possible)
Tomorrow
Possibly a few showers to start the day and these could potentially be thundery too. As we move into the afternoon some bright or sunny spells are possible but still with moderate amounts of cloud drifting through and still with a rather low risk of the odd shower. Later in the day we are likely to see further showers pushing up from the south and these could be extremely heavy with the risk of hail and thunder and potentially bringing the risk of flash flooding in one or two spots.
Temperature 24'c to 26'c generally although closer to 21'c in more southeastern parts of the island and around to 19'c right on the coast
Wind NE 10-15mph becoming ENE 22-31mph
Rainfall 1-12mm (localised rainfall possible)
