Continuing hot (mostly) through the coming week, but with subtle hints of a change towards next weekend

We've already covered tomorrow's forecast, with conditions remaining hot across the island. A cooling east to northeast breeze will continue to take the edge off the heat, especially along windward coasts, where it'll feel particularly pleasant, so lets move on to the rest of the week and see how things will pan out.

TUESDAY

Another hot and sunny day, with temperatures once again climbing into the low 30s in some spots, particularly across western parts of the island. The breeze will gradually ease too, allowing the heat to become more noticeable.

Temperature: 28–32°C in a light to moderate northeast breeze.

WEDNESDAY

The hot spell continues, although there should be a little more cloud drifting up from the south at times. While it'll still be very warm, the extra cloud cover may just make it feel a touch more comfortable.

Temperature: 26–28°C in light breezes.

THURSDAY

Temperatures look set to climb once again (based on a range of forecast models), with humidity also increasing. That combination could make it feel considerably hotter than the thermometer suggests. There may even be the chance of a few thundery showers bubbling up later in the day. A couple of other models also suggest a lot more in the way of showers and that would keep those temperatures in the mid 20's instead

Temperature: 29–32°C but 24-26°C in any showery conditions with light and variable breezes.

FRIDAY

This is where the forecast starts to become a little more uncertain. Some weather models are keen to push potentially thundery conditions northwards from the south, while others favour introducing slightly cooler air from the north. Either way, Friday itself still looks likely to remain hot, and probably quite humid too, with perhaps an increasing risk of a few thundery showers. As always at this range, expect the finer details to become clearer over the coming days.

Temperature: 27–30°C in a variable breeze, perhaps becoming southwesterly later.
