TODAY
Well, a fairly autumnal start for the first day of meteorological autumn, with a fair amount of cloud around to start the day, but there will be a few brighter or sunny spells from time to time. We'll likely see more of these by late morning and into the first part of the afternoon, with some good sunny spells developing before some high, thin cloud pushes in from the west towards evening.
Temperature: 19 to 21°C from southwest to northeast across the Island
Wind: West or even west-northwest to start the day, 9 to 15 mph, becoming west-southwest during the afternoon, 14 to 24 mph
TONIGHT
Tonight will be fairly cloudy, with just the odd clear spell here and there and the absolute outside chance of a light shower, but most places will stay dry.
Temperature: 16 to 18°C
Wind: West-southwest 8 to 16 mph
Rainfall: Less than 1 mm, with localised rainfall possible
TOMORROW
A lot of cloud around to start the day, with some mostly light and patchy rain from time to time. These conditions will stay with us on and off into the afternoon, with a fair amount of cloud, occasional brighter spells here and there, and the odd showery patch of rain which won't amount to very much. However, there is a chance of slightly heavier rainfall pushing in from the northwest, but there is some uncertainty over how far south this rain will reach.
Temperature: 19 to 21°C from southwest to northeast across the Island
Wind: West-southwest 11 to 19 mph, becoming southwest during the afternoon and increasing to 19 to 35 mph for a time
Rainfall: 0 to 1 mm, although if the rain to the north and northwest pushes slightly further south than currently indicated, some places could see 1 to 3 mm
