TODAY

A fine and warm day with good sunny spells, although we will see areas of cloud drifting through at times, especially later in the day.

Temperature: 23–25°C as a whole, warmest in central, northern and western parts, but coolest in the east and south. Perhaps only around 21°C on windward coasts in the east and south

Wind: E to NE 14–25 mph, becoming E 15–28 mph during the afternoon for a time, then turning a little more ESE as the afternoon goes on and dropping to 12–22 mph by the end of the day

TONIGHT

We’ll gradually see increasing cloud from the south as the night goes on, especially later in the night, when there is the risk of some localised heavy showers moving up from the south, some of which may be thundery. These will have cleared away to the north by dawn.

Temperature: 17–19°C

Wind: E to SE 9–18 mph, becoming N 2–5 mph later

Rainfall: 0–8 mm, with highly localised rainfall possible

TOMORROW

Perhaps the odd shower to start the day, but these will mostly have cleared away to the north by mid-morning, if any are indeed lingering around, to give a day of sunny spells and broken cloud with warm temperatures.

Temperature: 21–22°C along western, southern and eastern coasts, but 24–25°C across the northern half of the Island

Wind: Variable 0–3 mph, becoming S or SSE 5–11 mph by midday and 9–17 mph during the afternoon, before backing around into the E for the evening

Rainfall: 0–2 mm, with localised rainfall possible, but not very likely
