Morning update - The odd shower then brighter today, with a mixture of sun and cloud tomorrow

TODAY

Cloud and the odd shower this morning will gradually give way to somewhat brighter conditions as we move into the afternoon, although there will still be a fair amount of cloud around at times.

Temperature: 20–22°C, warmest in the north and east, coolest in the south and west

Wind: variable 3–5 mph at first, becoming west-southwest 12–20 mph

Rainfall: 0–2 mm, with localized rainfall possible

TONIGHT

Tonight should be a mostly dry night. However, there is a chance of the odd shower later in the night, but many places will miss these. There will be a few clear spells too, especially around the middle part of the night.

Temperature: 15–17°C in general, but around 18–19°C on the Wimbourne coast

Wind: west-southwest 8–14 mph, increasing to 11–19 mph by dawn

Rainfall: 0–2 mm, with localized rainfall possible

TOMORROW

A small chance of the odd shower at first, but generally a rather bright day with sunny spells and just occasional areas of cloud. Later in the day, we're likely to see more in the way of cloud developing and pushing in from the west.

Temperature: 20–22°C, warmest in the north and east, coolest in the south and west

Wind: west to southwest 12–19 mph to start the day, increasing to 20–34 mph by midday and 24–40 mph from mid-afternoon onwards
