TODAY
It will be a fine day across the island, although there will be occasional areas of cloud at times. Some patchy cloud may drift in off the Channel during the morning, particularly across southern and eastern parts of the island. As we move into the afternoon, there will also be some areas of high, thin cloud passing through, but overall it will remain fine with sunny spells.
Temperature: 21–23°C, coolest in the south and east and warmest across central, northern and western parts, perhaps locally reaching 24°C towards the northwest of the island
Wind: East to northeast 18–32 mph, increasing to 21–38 mph during the afternoon before easing a little towards the evening
TONIGHT
We’ll see a few clear spells at first, but cloud will gradually thicken from the south as the night goes on, with a small chance of the odd light patch of showery rain towards dawn.
Temperature: 16–18°C, but closer to 20°C in the south and east
Wind: East to northeast 16–28 mph, becoming northeast 11–19 mph later
TOMORROW
A lot of cloud around to start the day, and whilst we may see the odd brighter spell at times, the cloud will stay with us through most of the day. There is the chance of the odd shower moving in later and towards the evening, although any showers that do develop will be fairly localised and mostly light.
Temperature: 21–23°C in the south and east, 23–25°C across central, northern and western parts
Wind: Northeast 11–19 mph, becoming east or east-northeast 15–26 mph by midday, then east or east-southeast 12–20 mph towards the evening
