TODAY

Spells of rain, heavy at times, will last through most of the morning, perhaps even into the first part of the afternoon, before gradually beginning to ease. There may even be a few brighter spells to end the day.

Temperature: 12–13°C, although perhaps starting the day around 14–15°C before falling through the morning

Wind: north, 15–25 mph, becoming 21–35 mph this afternoon

Rainfall: 5–7 mm, with 5.1 mm already fallen at our Lake station

TONIGHT

Clear spells will develop quite quickly, and it will stay this way through most of the night. The breeze will remain fairly strong, which will stop temperatures from falling away too far. Despite this, it will still feel rather chilly.

Temperature: 7–9°C in general across the Island

Wind: north to northwest, 18–30 mph, becoming 16–25 mph later

TOMORROW

Tomorrow will be a generally fine day with good sunny spells, although there will be a few areas of high cloud around from time to time, especially during the afternoon when we will see some cloud beginning to develop and move across our area.

Temperature: 14–15°C

Wind: northwest, 16–25 mph, becoming 18–30 mph around the middle of the day, before dropping back to 12–20 mph during the afternoon
