Sleet and snow possible in some parts tomorrow, here is the latest
Tomorrow's snow risk is still very uncertain as an area of showery rain moves up from the south. Windward coasts should stay fairly mild until later in the day, so these areas are most likely to see just rain.
Elsewhere we see a mixture of sleet and perhaps even some wet snow towards central and western parts from time to time, especially over high ground.
Accumulations seem unlikely at this point, although a dusting is possible with elevation.
Temperatures will vary quite widely with 5-6°C possible in the east and south for a time but generally 2-4°C elsewhere, falling closer to 0-1°C in during the heaviest spells, and this is when we may see snow falling to lower levels.
During the evening we are likely to see a significant risk of ice due to wet roads and run-off water freezing as the temperatures drop to around freezing or perhaps just below in a few spots.
