The odd shower, then a mix of sun and cloud today - heavy rain easing to a few showers tomorrow! 🌦️🌧️

TODAY
Any early showers will clear away, leaving a mixture of sunny spells and areas of cloud, with perhaps some thicker cloud moving in towards the evening.
Temperature: 13–14°C
Wind: east-southeast, 12–20 mph, becoming 15–25 mph later
Rainfall: less than 1 mm (0.4 mm fell overnight at our Lake station).
TONIGHT
Cloud will thicken further, with a few showers moving in at first, followed by an area of more persistent and rather heavy rain. There will also be the risk of low cloud and hill fog, with some particularly heavy bursts of rain possible later in the night and towards dawn.
Temperature: 11–13°C, although a few sheltered rural spots may briefly fall to 9–10°C at first
Wind: east, 8–15 mph, becoming north at 6–11 mph later
Rainfall: 10–15 mm, with 20–25 mm possible in some spots.
TOMORROW
The rain will become lighter and fizzle out somewhat during the morning, although further showers may then develop and affect the Island as we move into the afternoon. There remains some uncertainty over how much additional rainfall these showers may produce. The day could potentially end with some brighter spells moving in from the west.
Temperature: 14–15°C at first, but dropping closer to 11–12°C by mid-afternoon
Wind: north to north-northeast, 8–14 mph, becoming northwest at 11–23 mph during the afternoon
Rainfall: 6–10 mm, with considerable uncertainty.
