A fine afternoon ahead with sunny spells and patchy cloud although it will feel chilly. Max temperature 5'c-6'c on northern coasts and in the far southwest. 4-5'c all other areas. Wind NNW 28-35mph on the hills and along the northwest, north and northeast of the island. 20-30mph in other areas.

Good long clear spells which will allow temperatures to drop to below freezing in some places bringing the risk of ice.
Min temperature 1-3'c in the west and north, 0-2'c in most other places but a few central/southeastern spots may see -1'c bringing the risk of ice in those places. Wind NW 20-25mph in the north and west, 10-15mph in central, eastern and southeastern parts. Level 1 advisory: Risk of ice/black ice in a few locations, especially in central/southeast areas. Highest risk locations are: Merstone, Horringford, Newchurch, Alverstone, Adgestone, Blackwater, Godshill, Bowcombe, Havenstreet, Ashey, Nunwell, Brading and Wootton Bridge but not exclusively so.
