This afternoon will continue with some good sunny spells but the risk of the odd shower here and there. The cloud will slowly increase later on towards the evening.

Rainfall 0-0.5mm Tonight will start off breezy with a few clear spells but cloud soon increasing and rain quickly following with severe gales developing (please check our warnings page). The second half of the night will start with cloud and rain but this clearing by dawn to allow some clearer spells but also a few showers.
Min temperature falling to around 3'c to 5'c at first in central and eastern parts but rising closer to 8'c to 9'c although for a time between 10pm and 3am it will temporarily rise to around 11'c to 12'c generally.
Wind WSW 38-49mph at first becoming 52-64mph with 70mph gusts possible in some places between 11pm and 2am then becoming WNW 42-52mph by dawn.

Tomorrow will be a bright with sunny spells but also the odd shower coming through on a strong wind.
Max temperature 4'c to 5'c in the north and east, but closer to 6'c in the south and west.
