Showers will continue through the first half of the night although cloud thickening generally with rain arriving around dawn which may be heavy.

A wet and windy start to the day with gales or even severe gales in exposed areas.The rain should clear through around midday with some brighter spells following but still with a fair amount of cloud and possibly the odd light shower.
