A very warm day across the island with hazy sunny spells through the morning, although cloud will develop closely to the north to bring some heavy and thundery showers across the mainland and into the Solent, perhaps clipping the northern half of the island during the afternoon. Temperature 25-27°C but closer to 22°C around windward coasts Wind north 6-11mph becoming west-southwest 11-19mph but perhaps more west towards northern parts Rainfall 0-6mm with highly localised rainfall possible



Tonight

Any remaining cloud and showers soon breaking up to give a mostly fine night with clear spells. Feeling cooler. Temperature 14-16°C Wind west 3-7mph becoming west-northwest 2-5mph Rainfall 0-2mm



Tomorrow

A fine day with long sunny spells and a small amount of patchy cloud. Feeling much cooler and fresher, especially during the afternoon in the freshening breeze. Temperature 21-23°C but closer to 18-19°C in the south and west Wind west-northwest 3-6mph becoming west-southwest 12-20mph by midday and 17-30mph by late afternoon
