Evening update + Forecast for the Week Ahead - Looking quite mixed and potentially rather wet later in the week

TONIGHT

We will see a mixture of clear spells and broken cloud at first along with increasingly thick mist. A few showers are likely to move in from the channel later in the night and these may well be heavy. Temperature 17-18°C Wind south 3-7mph becoming southwest 11-20mph by dawn Rainfall 0-3mm with localised rainfall possible

TOMORROW

A generally cloudy day with low cloud, hill fog and also some patchy drizzle in places along with a few slightly heavier outbreaks of rain, but also with some drier spells, especially during the afternoon. Temperature 17-19°C Wind west-southwest 15-25mph becoming south 6-14mph

Rainfall 1-3mm

TUESDAY

Showery rain at first but this will clear away to give some brighter spells during the afternoon. Temperature 19-21°C Wind northwest 7-16mph

WEDNESDAY

A bright start but the cloud is likely to thicken up with some showery rain possible later, although there are significant uncertainties at the moment. Temperature 19-21°C Wind north 12-19mph

THURSDAY

It seems likely that we will see freshening winds along with an increasing risk of rain, but again there are huge uncertainties as there are large variations between the models at this time, so for now we will have to advise you to come back in check again in the next day or two. Temperature 19-20°C Wind north-northeast 15-28mph
