TODAY
A fine, fresh and crisp day with some good sunny spells. As we move into the afternoon, some mid and high-level cloud will begin to push in from the west, although it will stay dry with sunny spells continuing for much of the day. Cloud will gradually increase somewhat as the afternoon goes on.
Temperature: 14–15°C
Wind: northwest, 12–21 mph, becoming 15–27 mph for a few hours around the middle of the day, before turning west-northwest and easing to 8–17 mph later in the afternoon.
TONIGHT
Cloud will continue to increase through the evening, with some patchy rain arriving after dark and the odd heavier burst here and there. The rain will remain rather patchy, but will be with us on and off through the night, with cloudy skies throughout.
Temperature: falling to 10–12°C at first, but rising to 15–17°C later in the night
Wind: west, 8–14 mph at first, becoming west-southwest at 15–24 mph by midnight, then increasing to 21–38 mph during the early hours
Rainfall: 1–3 mm.
TOMORROW
Plenty of cloud around to start the day, with the odd patch of rain here and there. Further spells of showery rain will arrive around the middle of the day and stay with us on and off through the afternoon, perhaps becoming slightly heavier for a time by late afternoon and into the evening, before clearing away during the evening.
Temperature: generally 17–18°C
Wind: west-southwest, 19–34 mph, becoming 23–40 mph by midday and then increasing quite quickly into the early afternoon, reaching 24–46 mph
Rainfall: 1–3 mm.
