TODAY
A very hot day across many parts of the Island with almost unbroken sunshine, although there may be the odd patch of cloud here and there during the afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures will gradually ease from the west as the afternoon goes on, with the highest temperatures becoming more focused towards northern and eastern parts of the Island.
Temperature: 30–32°C widely, although southern and western parts will gradually fall back into the mid to high 20s during the afternoon. Windward coasts in the south and west will be cooler at around 23–25°C.
Wind: W/NW 7–12 mph, becoming W/WSW 10–18 mph as the day goes on. Onshore breezes will develop around western, southern and eastern coasts, while winds become more offshore across northern and northeastern parts later.
TONIGHT
Another warm night across the Island, with temperatures remaining rather high in many places, particularly in the larger towns and more built-up areas. It will start off mostly clear, although some patchy cloud will develop as the night goes on. Most places will stay dry, but there is a small chance of the odd shower developing later in the night and into the early hours.
Temperature: 19–21°C generally.
Wind: NW 9–16 mph, becoming N 12–21 mph later.
TOMORROW
Areas of cloud at first, but this will move away to the east through the morning to leave some long sunny spells. It will become very warm across virtually all parts of the Island, although onshore coastal breezes will develop in the west and south for a time. This cooler air will gradually spread eastwards during the afternoon and into the evening, although it probably won't make it all the way across the Island before the sea breeze fizzles out by mid-evening.
Temperature: 27–29°C across most of the Island, with a few central parts reaching 30°C. Temperatures will gradually fall from the west during the afternoon, with windward coasts in the west and south ending the day at around 22–25°C.
Wind: N 14–23 mph, easing to 10–15 mph, although a W/SW sea breeze will try to push its way eastwards across the Island during the afternoon.
